Meet Mrs. Martha Johnson
Hello! My name is Martha Johnson. I have been employed at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Regional Catholic School since 1997. I began as a Teacher’s Aide, but during the last several years, I have been the Technology Coordinator, assisting with the technology and media needs at our school. I love working at OLMC! I get to work with great people and students, and my job is never boring!
I was born and raised in West Frankfort, Illinois. I studied Early Childhood Education at John A. Logan College. God has blessed me with an awesome family! I was happily married to Tommy Johnson for 29 years, until he passed away in 2017. I have a son, Jordan, who is an OLMC Alumni from 2001. I am very proud of the man he has grown up to be! Jordan and my daughter-in-law, Jenny, and three precious grandsons: Andrew, Colt and Joseph.
Having been raised in the Baptist faith, I was saved and accepted Jesus into my life when I was in third grade. I began attending Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in 1987 while dating Tommy. I joined the church in 1995 and have continued my faith journey here ever since.
Through the years, my husband and I had many opportunities to help assist in the growth and development of our school. I am proud to be a team member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Regional Catholic School and look forward to the future of this great school!
