Meet Sister Paulette Joerger
Hello! I am Sister Paulette, the Religion Teacher at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Regional Catholic School. My hometown is Mendota, Illinois. I come from an extremely faith-filled family. My extraordinary parents are deceased. I have four lovely sisters. Three of us have been called into the religious life. One sister is a Dominican sister like myself. She ministers at St. Catherine’s Village in Madison, MS. Another sister is a contemplative, Cistercian nun. Her monastery is located in Wisconsin. My two younger sisters are happily married, and they and their husbands carry out various ministries in the Church. I am greatly blessed with a loving, happy and faith-filled family!
My life is consecrated to living for God. Because I have a been a religious sister for many years, I feel that God wants me to help His people, especially His children, to become the best versions of themselves, and for sharing with them the Glimpses of God I have been allowed to catch! I feel I can do this best by teaching religion!
I love to read, enjoy playing guitar, and walking. I love this position! I will do my best to assist students in developing a deep and profound relationship with God.
